T-5 Fluorescent Lamp Protectors

The T5 fluorescent lamp protectors are profile extruded in a clear, unbreakable Polycarbonate material that provides maximum lamp protection without interfering with the lamp light output.  Lamp protectors satisfy OSHA, FDA, and USDA requirements for use in food processing and other general uses in industrial plants.
 
Available in Clear, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow(Amber) for F28 lamp

The T5TG-HO lamp protector is a clear special extruded part for the F54 lamp. It has more than double the wall thickness of a standard lamp protector and includes some UV filtering properties removing all UV below 360 nanometers.  The injection molded elongated endcaps are made from an ultra high heat resistant material that allow for venting of heat build-up and do not prematurely affect lamp life.  Currently – PATENT PENDING

IT IS SAFE TO USE ONLY WHEN IN CONJUNCTION WITH ELECTRONIC HIGH EFFICIENCY BALLASTS THAT ARE DESIGNED TO PREVENT OVERHEATING OF THE LAMP DURING USE AND AT “END OF LIFE”
It is not recommended using under any conditions where surface lamp temperature can exceed 200 degrees F or in an enclosed fixture where normal venting is prohibited.
Not recommended for use with dimming systems, motion sensors, or applications where power surges or spikes can cause arcing or over-burning of lamps.
A field test on each job must be done prior to mass installation.
